Si fuese justo juzgar un álbum por su portada se diría que Watch The Throne se trata de una mirada a través del escaparate de una vida llena de lujos pero resulta una percepción falsa. Se admite que hay glamour en el aunque no se refiere a una visión de superficial (del todo), es decir, el álbum fue bien trabajado (no por ello su espera y el tiempo en que fue producido y grabado en secreto por algunas partes del mundo). Jay-Z y Kaney West se ocuparon de traer vibras rítmicas que cuenta con producciones de Swizz Beats, RZA, Hit-Boy, el mismo Kanye, No I.D, Southside, The Neptunes, Mike Dean, entre otros y colaboraciones de Frank Ocean, Beyonce, Otis Redding y Mr. Hudson. Por otro lado las letras cargan un significado que sitúa al oyente en reflexiones de la vida y el precio de la fama (No Church in the Wild, New Day, Gotta Have It, Welcome to the Jungle, Who Gon Stop Me, Made in America y Why I Love You) y algo para hacerle al egocéntrico (Lift Off, Otis, That’s My Bitch, Illest Motherfucker Alive, H.A.M y Niggas in Paris) y por otro lado también recrimina la violencia (Murder to Excellence). A pesar de ser un muy buen trabajo tampoco se escapa de los defectos pues suele volverse flojo como repetitivo. Como un extra se incluye un beat de Pete Rock (The Joy). Disfrútenlo!
